Sri Lanka’s tourism sector has experienced a significant development , with 127,925 tourists arriving in the past three weeks, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.
The majority of these visitors were from India, accounting for 30,442 arrivals.

Significant numbers of tourists also arrived from Britain, China, Germany, and the Netherlands.
This recent influx brings the total number of tourist arrivals to 1,138,174 for the year 2024.
