Two persons were injured in a shooting incident in Harumalgoda, Habaraduwa last night. The attack occurred in front of an inn, where two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle opened fire with a pistol.

The initial victim, attempting to hide inside a three-wheeler, was pursued by the shooters who also targeted the vehicle, injuring the driver. Despite his injuries, the driver managed to drive the vehicle to the hospital.

The injured men, aged 34 and 54, are residents of Habaraduwa and Angulugaha. Both have been hospitalized.
