A cash deposit has been placed on behalf of Opposition Leader and Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) leader, MP Sajith Premadasa, for the upcoming Presidential Election. SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara, along with MPs S.M. Marikkar and Mujibur Rahman, made the deposit at the National Election Commission today.

The Presidential Election is scheduled for 21st September 2024, with nominations being accepted from 15th August.
