Former senior cricketer Hashan Tillakaratne has extended his support for Opposition and Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Leader MP Sajith Premadasa in the upcoming Presidential Election.

Tillakaratne, who is currently the Head Coach of the Bangladesh women's cricket team, was joined by his wife, Apsari Tillakaratne, a prominent activist with the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), previously served as the Coordinating Secretary to Mahinda Rajapaksa during his tenure as Prime Minister in 2020.
