Sajith Premadasa, the Samagi Jana Balawegaya’s presidential candidate and Opposition Leader, has pledged to take legal action against persons who violate voting rights. 

Speaking after a verdict from a five-judge bench, Premadasa criticized the President, also serving as Finance Minister, for alleged violations of fundamental rights.
He condemned current leaders for neglecting public welfare and turning the country into a place of deals.
