Presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake expressed strong confidence in the National People's Power (NPP) securing victory, declaring that the outcome is now in the hands of the people and cannot be reversed.
At a recent rally, Anura highlighted the unprecedented support the NPP has received, especially in Homagama, and dismissed the efforts of his competitors, Ranil Wickremesinghe and Sajith Premadasa, as ineffective.
He assured supporters of the integrity of the electoral process and noted the rise in postal ballots as a sign of commitment to fair voting.
Anura also suggested that Ranil, accustomed to defeat, would concede gracefully.
