On Thursday morning, a container truck overturned on the Southern Expressway near the 95.8 km post between Pinnaduwa and Imaduwa access roads. 

The accident blocked the Matara-bound lane, leading to significant traffic congestion.
Currently, only small vehicles can pass through the affected section of the expressway.

Efforts are underway to clear the blockage and restore normal traffic flow.
