Trains between Colombo Fort and Maradana have been disrupted following the derailment of the Meenagaya Intercity Express Train this morning at around 7:00 a.m. The train was traveling from Batticaloa to Colombo Fort when the incident occurred, as reported by the Railway Department.

Passengers can expect delays on both the main line and coastal line due to the disruption.
