A 17-year-old motorcyclist died following a crash in Ragama when he lost control of his bike while traveling from Thewatta towards Dambuwa Junction. The motorcycle veered off the road and collided with an electricity pole on a byroad.

Police reported that the rider sustained serious injuries and succumbed to them after being admitted to Ragama Hospital. The victim was identified as a resident of Kandaliyadda Paluwa in Ragama.
