Former Minister Johnston Fernando's legal team notified the Court of Appeal today (22) that he will present himself before the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) tomorrow (23) to provide a statement regarding the unregistered luxury car allegedly linked to him.

The vehicle was discovered parked at a star-class hotel in Colombo.

The legal team made this announcement during the hearing of a petition filed by Fernando, which sought an order preventing his arrest in connection with the case.
