The newly appointed Chairman of the National Transport Commission, Dr. Bandura Dileepa Witharana, posted an image on Facebook with the caption "on the way to assume duties."

Dr. Witharana, a senior lecturer at the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL), was appointed as the NTC Chairman on 21 October.
