The National Election Commission said that official ballot papers for the upcoming general election will be handed over to Sri Lanka Post today.

Chairman R.M.A.L. Ratnayake said that district returning officers will oversee the distribution process. Voters who do not receive their ballot papers by November 7 will be able to collect them at their nearest post office.

The 2024 general election is set to take place on November 14.
