Shashi Prabha Ratwatte, wife of former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte, was remanded until 7 November by the Nugegoda Magistrate’s Court. This was in connection with the discovery of an unregistered car at her residence in Mirihana, Nugegoda.

Former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte was arrested by Mirihana Police on 31 October in Katugastota, Kandy, in relation to the unregistered car found at his wife’s house in Mirihana. The vehicle, without registered number plates, was discovered on 26 October 2024, according to police.
