The Department of Railways said that the train service between Colombo Fort and Talaimannar will resume today, November 12, after being temporarily suspended for a railway development project between Mahawa and Anuradhapura.

The new schedule is as follows:

- Colombo Fort to Talaimannar: Departure at 4:15 PM, arrival at 10:15 PM (effective today).

- Talaimannar to Colombo Fort: Departure at 4:15 AM, arrival at 10:15 AM (effective November 13).

Passengers are advised to follow the updated timetable for their travel.
