The Ministry of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs said that all Members of Parliament (MPs) will be provided with fuel-efficient vehicles during their tenure.

Minister Ananda Wijayapala said that the initiative aims to enable MPs to better serve the public while minimizing wastage of public funds.

"No luxury vehicles will be distributed this time. This decision was made to ensure prudent use of resources," the minister said.
