December 31, 2014

Investment Promotions Deputy Minister Faizer Mustapha officially joined the Common Opposition at Viharamahadevi open air theatre.

The Deputy Minister attended the women's meeting of the UNP and joined the stage when UNP National Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe was addressing the meeting.

The Deputy Minister, who was elected to Parliament in 2010 from the District of Kandy, is now the Central Colombo Organizer of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.

He said that his main concern was the Bodu Bala Sena's open support to the government.

Faizer Mustapha met Common Candidate Maithripala Sirisena at the latter's office on Monday.

The meeting took place just hours after the Deputy Minister's arrival from Singapore. Sources close the Common Candidate told Asian Mirror that Mustapha, during the meeting, agreed to work with the common opposition.
