Assistant Superintendent of Police Ruwan Gunasekara was appointed as Police Media Spokesman, replacing SSP Ajith Rohana. 

 

Former Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana was transferred to Colombo North Division, Gunasekara told 'Asian Mirror.'

 

ASP Ruwan Gunasekara, served as the Acting Police Spokesman from March 6, while SSP Ajith Rohana was away from the country on an official visit to Malaysia. 

 

SSP Ajith Rohana is expected to return to the island tomorrow.
