The family of Khuram Shaikh, who was killed while on holiday in Sri Lanka, say they are shocked by the decision to bail four men accused of his murder - half way through their trial.
Khuran Shaikh's brother, Nasser Shaikh has made these remarks in an interview with 'Granada'.
The 32-year old British tourist from Rochdale was on holiday on Christmas Day in 2011 when he was stabbed and shot at his hotel. Tangalle PS Chairman Sampath Vidanapathirana was prosecuted in Colombo in connection with the murder.
The trial into his murder, which has taken more than two years to come to court amid fears of a cover-up, began at the High Court in Colombo last month. The girlfriend of the victim, who was also gang-raped by the suspects following the murder, gave evidence before the Colombo High Court.
However, four of the six men accused have been released on bail. (With inputs from ITV)
