The Frontline socialist Party opened a new office in Jaffna this morning at Stanley Road, Ariyakulam.
The function was attended by FLSP General Secretary Senadeera Gunathilake and Propaganda Secretary Pubudu Jayagoda.
Saranga, daughter of the dissappeared party activist Muruganandan Kugan, cut the ribbon to declare open the office.
FLSP General Secretary Senadeera Gunathilaka stated that the new FLSP office is located at a historic place for the leftist movement in Jaffna. The office of Communist Party of Ceylon (Peiking Wing) was once located at the same venue, Gunathilaka said.
He added that the opening of the new office was a key step in building up the left movement of Sri Lanka.
