Elections Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya will meet representatives of political parties today at Elections Secretariat in Rajagiriya this afternoon.

This will be the first of such meetings following the announcement of the general election.

The Commissioner met with District Secretaries, Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers on June 30 and held discussions on the August 17 election. Meanwhile, several parties have also held discussions on individual matters with the Elections Commissioner.
