Sri Lanka Muslim Congress High Command is meeting at Darussalam party headquaters tonight to take a final decision on the general election.

Media reports indicated that the SLMC will contest with the United National Party.

Party leader Rauff Hakeem told media yesterday that his party has decided to sign a MoU with the UNP.

However, the party was initially contemplating to contest the election on its own.
