Former UPFA MP Namal Rajapaksa yesterday said that his father, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, stole people's hearts. He also said that it became obvious during the meeting on July 1 at Medamulana.
Speaking after a religious event in Badulla, Namal Rajapaksa said that the country faces a huge challenge at the moment. There was an attempt to destroy the unitary state of the country, he claimed.
Rajapaksa also said that the good governance government promised to catch theives and attempted to probe into his family's properties. The government was looking for Lamborghinis and helicopters but could find none, he also said.
