The Kegalle Fraud Investigation Bureau has arrested the 59-year-old brother-in-law of Minister K.D. Lal Kantha over an alleged financial fraud linked to a vehicle auction.
According to Police, the suspect is accused of defrauding an individual of Rs. 1.145 million in connection with the auction.
He is due to be produced before the Kegalle Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
