Litmus has won seven awards at SLIM DIGIS 2.6 for campaigns created for PickMe, Vision Care, Marmite, Glow & Lovely and Knorr. The agency said the recognised work drew on Sri Lankan cultural insights, language and everyday experiences.
PickMe’s “Ride That Redefined Mobility” campaign turned familiar commuting frustrations into stories told across media platforms and earned two awards. Vision Care’s “Embracing Culture” campaign drew on the dialects and cultural nuances of Northern Tamil and Eastern Muslim communities, winning Best Use of Creative Content.
Marmite’s “Eat. React. Repeat.” campaign featured personalities including Anudi, Ashanya, Sasha, Damith and Gangulee to place the brand within contemporary food culture. It won two awards.
Glow & Lovely’s “It’s Purple for Nallur” campaign brought together content, colour, personalities, a mural and an on-ground activation around the Nallur Festival. Knorr’s Ifthar campaign focused on sharing, family and togetherness alongside food.
According to Litmus, the campaigns followed a common approach: understanding the culture surrounding a product, identifying an experience people recognise and building an idea around it.
The DIGIS awards follow what the agency described as a strong year for campaign effectiveness. Litmus said it had also recorded 11 Effie wins this year for work on Sunsilk, PickMe, Vaseline and Knorr. The agency said the two sets of awards recognised both the creative quality and the effectiveness of its campaigns.
Founded in 2017, Litmus describes itself as a contemporary marketing communications agency with digital at its core. It provides integrated services to local and multinational brands, with a focus on local language and culturally grounded communication.
The agency said its approach to regional campaigns begins with ideas developed for the local context and language, rather than translating campaigns conceived elsewhere. It also produces work in the communities it seeks to reach, drawing on an islandwide talent pool, particularly in the North and East.
For Litmus, the awards support a broader goal: helping brands remain relevant to people across Sri Lanka’s diverse communities.
