Daisy Forrest, also known as “Daisy Achchi”, the maternal grandmother of Yoshitha Rajapaksa, was granted bail after being produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court today (5 March).
The court granted her release on two personal bails of Rs. 5 million each.
Earlier in the day, Daisy Forrest was questioned by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with a money laundering case and was subsequently arrested.
