Cristiano Ronaldo Faces Tax-avoidance Allegations

December 03, 2016

The Spanish outlet El Confidencial claimed that the 31-year-old is using a tax-loophole in Ireland to avoid paying millions in tax.

Ronaldo's representatives have denied a media report and stated that the Portugal captain is fully compliant with his tax obligations.

Over the past month the likes of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Samuel Eto'o have all found themselves caught up in tax-avoidance claims, with the Spanish court calling for Neymar to serve a two-year prison sentence.
