With the return of the Mexican Grand Prix, the 2015 Formula One championship will have 20 races.
Mexico last held an F1 race in 1992 at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, the venue for next year's race on November 1.
The expanded calendar means the season will finish one week later, with the Abu Dhabi GP pushed back to November 29.
The Singapore and Japanese GPs will be back-to-back on September 20 and September 27. Meanwhile, the United States GP swaps dates with Mexico, and will be held a week earlier on October 25 in Austin, Texas.
Governing body FIA made the announcement Friday at a World Motor Sport Council meeting.
However, the Indian GP failed to make it back, and the Grand Prix of America - provisionally planned for New Jersey - again is not included.
Organizers in India had hoped for an early slot in 2015 after sitting out this year. The race in New Jersey has previously been on FIA's provisional calendar.

Twenty races were also held in 2012.
