A comprehensive Cabinet reshuffle will happen in the unity government after President Maithripala Sirisena's return from London, informed government sources said.
Sirisena is currently in the United Kingdom attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government Summit.
They said a comprehensive reshuffle was likely to take place after April 23.
They further added that several rounds of discussions in this regard were held between Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe before the former left for London.
Some temporary ministerial appointments were given last week to replace the SLFP ministers who opted to sit in the opposition having voted against the Prime Minister at the no-confidence vote on April 04.
