President Maithripala Sirisena returned this morning after attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in London.

It is expected he will make key changes to the government in the third Cabinet reshuffle since the national unity government took over in 2015.

Before leaving to London, it was indicated that the President Sirisena would attend to the Cabinet reshuffle after he returned on April 23.

Several rounds of discussion were held between the President and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe in this regard, before the President left to attend CHOGM.
