The Joint Opposition today indicated the possibility of a no-confidence motion against Speaker Karu Jayasuriya.
"No wonder if someone presents a no-confidence motion against the speaker," JO MP Keheliya Rambukwella said, addressing a press conference in Colombo today.
He said the Joint Opposition was deprived of the Opposition Leader's position, despite claiming majority seats in the opposition.
"We don't even get enough time for our speeches in the House. This is unfair and unethical," Rambukwella added.
He said the opposition leader in Parliament did not have an island wide representation.
