President Maithripala Sirisena said he would write a book, in January, about his unsuccessful political marriage with UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Addressing an event in Colombo today, Sirisena said those who talk about his biography, written by her daughter Chathurika Sirisena, should also read his book about Wickremesinghe.
"I was severely criticized in Parliament today, in a one-sided debate," Sirisena said referring to the adjournment debate in Parliament earlier today, in which his conduct as the President was severely criticized by lawmakers of four political parties.
He said he would not be deterred by "vicious attacks" by politicians supporting the no-confidence motion against Rajapaksa.
"I have only two things to lose - my Presidency and my life. I am prepared to sacrifice both for the betterment of the country," Sirisena added.
