Swarnavahini is been severely criticized on social media for the manner in which it reported a minor traffic rule violation on its Prime Time news.

The cameraman who shot the incident pointed straight in to the driver's seat of the vehicle, showing the driver of the vehicle and his discussion with the policeman who stopped him.

Viewers criticized the TV station on its Facebook Page and on the Youtube channel, accusing it of blatant human rights violation and unethical media practices.

The viewers also expressed their serious displeasure by disliking the video on Youtube.
