New Government Is Corruption Free, Says Finance Minister

Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake said that corrupt individuals will be prevented from joining the government regardless of who were given Ministerial portfolios.

Speaking at a media briefing held at the Finance Ministry yesterday Karunanayake refuted the allegation that corrupt individuals were appointed Ministers. Those who level this allegation are those who did not receive ministerial portfolios, said the Finance Minister.

 

The Finance Minister said that all parties in the government are united to ensure the swift implementation of good governance.
