An MOU has been signed between Sri Lanka and South Korea to enhance cooperation in the defence sector. Visiting Chairman of the South Korean National Defence University Leutinent General Vee Sung Ho met State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewardena and held discussions of the important matters. This MOU will help to promote defence relations between the two countries and South Korea is to provide more training opportunities to Sri Lankan security forces. Minister Ruwan Wijewardena said South Korean officials will be given more opportunities at the Kothalawala National Defence University.
