Minister Gayantha Karunathilaka says the successful drug control national policy has been a victory to the common masses. 

Karapitiya base hospital has been the third largest hospital in this country. 

A nine story building complex at a cost of 790 million rupees is being constructed at this hospital. 

Minister made these remarks while addressing the parliament yesterday. Two 10 story buildings will be constructed in Elpitiya and Balapitiya hospitals. 

The votes on Ministries of health nutrition and indigenous medicine and sports were passed in parliament yesterday.
