Former Minister Prasanna Ranatunga claimed that people across the country had grown fed up with the current President and the Government.
Criticising the political approach adopted by the present administration, Ranatunga alleged that the Government was engaged in a process of misleading the public and deceiving ordinary citizens.
He further claimed that growing public dissatisfaction was evident in the way people were responding to the Government’s statements and actions.
Ranatunga also alleged that the public increasingly viewed the claims made by the current rulers as false and misleading, and that confidence in the administration was continuing to erode.
