Cabinet Approves Removal of General Manager of Railways

The Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval to the proposal to remove Dhammika Jayasundara from the post of General Manager of Sri Lanka Railways.

It is reported that the Transport Minister has decided to appoint a new General Manager due to administrative weaknesses and ongoing inefficiencies at Sri Lanka Railways.
