Serious allegations have emerged against the Officer in Charge (OIC) of the Norochcholai Police Station, accusing him of maintaining connections with drug traffickers and actively facilitating their illicit operations.

The accusations are reportedly supported by several audio recordings of phone conversations, which are currently circulating widely on social media. The clips allegedly capture the OIC providing guidance and assistance to individuals involved in drug trafficking.

The issue was raised in Parliament today (14) by MP Rishad Bathiudeen. The Police Spokesperson confirmed that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) has been informed of the matter.
