Sun Match Company, a 42-year-old heritage brand based in the Central Province, has announced that its flagship product Soorya will serve as a Silver Sponsor of the Jaffna International Trade Fair (JITF) 2026. The three-day event will take place in Jaffna from 23 to 25 January.

Known as one of the Northern Province’s most anticipated commercial exhibitions, the JITF brings together businesses, entrepreneurs, and consumers to showcase products, services, and innovations while fostering regional economic partnerships across Sri Lanka.

Soorya — a longstanding household brand with a strong footprint in Jaffna and the Northern Region — has built its reputation on quality and everyday convenience. The sponsorship underscores Sun Match Company’s commitment to strengthening regional engagement and supporting local communities.

“Soorya is built on quality, reliability, and everyday convenience,” said Executive Director Gowri Rajan. “Our participation in the Jaffna International Trade Fair reflects our vision to connect with communities across Sri Lanka, strengthen regional engagement, and continue delivering products that meet the evolving needs of our customers.”

Visitors to the fair are invited to visit the Soorya stalls (Nos. 18 and 115) to explore the full product range and experience the brand’s focus on practical, customer-centred innovation.

With its participation in JITF 2026, Sun Match Company reaffirms its mission to remain a brand for all Sri Lankans — lighting up homes, livelihoods, and communities for generations.
