People’s Bank is offering valuable gifts through its “People’s Remittance – Kalin Avurudu Vaasi Draw 2026”, giving customers who receive foreign remittances into their People’s Bank accounts before 31 March 2026 the opportunity to win attractive gift packs in celebration of the upcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year.

Under this draw, all account holders who receive workers’ remittances into their People’s Bank accounts via People’s Remittance from 1 January 2026 to 31 March 2026 will be eligible to participate. A total of 50 lucky winners will be selected, with each winner receiving a gift pack worth Rs. 25,000, containing essential and valuable items.

In addition, customers who receive workers’ remittances through People’s Remittance will also have the chance to win weekly cash prizes worth Rs. 100,000 through the “People’s Remittance Vaasi Kotiyai 2026” draw. Furthermore, the “Dolosmahe Vaasi Chakraya” programme offers multiple opportunities to win prizes every month. The more remittances customers receive, the higher their chances of winning.

This initiative aims not only to strengthen the country’s economy, but also to recognise and encourage Sri Lankan migrant workers who, through their courage and dedication, continue to support the wellbeing of themselves and their families.

People’s Bank continues to roll out these rewarding programmes through “People’s Remittance Vaasi Kotiya 2026” and the “Dolosmahe Vaasi Chakraya”, specially designed for its customers.
