Asia Asset Finance PLC has secured top honours at the Best Management Practices Company (BMPC) Awards 2026, organised by the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka, reinforcing its standing in the country’s financial services sector.

The company won the Gold Award in the Finance and Leasing category and received Merit Awards in the Digital Literacy and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) clusters, recognising its performance across business operations, innovation, and social impact.

The BMPC Awards are regarded as a key national platform that evaluates organisations on leadership, strategy, people management, operational excellence, and overall business performance. Asia Asset Finance said its participation in the programme provided an opportunity to benchmark its practices against national standards while strengthening its positioning as a forward-looking financial institution.

The company operates as a subsidiary of Muthoot Finance, combining international backing with local market presence. With a history spanning more than five decades and an expanding branch network across Sri Lanka, the firm has established itself as a key player in the finance and leasing industry.

The latest recognition also reflects the company’s focus on digital adoption, financial inclusion, and customer-centric service delivery, alongside its corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Chief Executive Officer Rajiv Gunawardana said the awards marked a significant milestone for the organisation.

“This recognition at the Best Management Practices Company Awards 2026 is a proud milestone for Asia Asset Finance PLC and a strong affirmation of the values that drive our organisation. Winning the Gold Award in Finance and Leasing together with Merit Awards in Digital Literacy and CSR reflects the strength of our vision, the dedication of our people, and our continued commitment to excellence,” he said.

The company noted that the recognition was also a reflection of the contribution of its employees, as well as the continued trust of its customers, partners, and stakeholders.

With the latest accolades, Asia Asset Finance PLC said it aims to further strengthen its role in Sri Lanka’s financial sector by advancing innovation, expanding access to financial services, and maintaining high standards of governance and performance.
