Rupee steady against US dollar across commercial banks

The Sri Lankan rupee remained stable against the US dollar in commercial banks today, with the selling rate holding at Rs. 323 compared to last Thursday (30 April).

According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates for the US dollar stood unchanged at Rs. 316 and Rs. 323.75, respectively.

At NDB Bank, the buying rate was Rs. 316.25, while the selling rate remained at Rs. 322.75.

People’s Bank reported a buying rate of Rs. 316.07 and a selling rate of Rs. 323.04, both unchanged.

Meanwhile, Commercial Bank of Ceylon recorded buying and selling rates of Rs. 314.29 and Rs. 322.75, respectively.

At Sampath Bank, the US dollar buying rate stood at Rs. 316.25, with the selling rate at Rs. 322.75.
