Seylan Bank continued its long-standing collaboration with the Kedella Construction Expo in 2025, marking the 13th consecutive year as the event’s Title and Official Banking Partner. Organised by Asia Exhibition and Conventions, the latest edition of the expo was held at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre (BMICH) from 28 to 30 March. The event provided visitors with a unique opportunity to explore a comprehensive range of lifestyle products, services, and materials essential for construction, home improvement, and interior design projects.

As the country’s premier building and architecture trade show, the Kedella Construction Expo once again welcomed Seylan Bank, which actively engaged with visitors by hosting a dedicated stall. The bank showcased its diverse portfolio of products and services, including home loans, personal loans, leasing facilities, credit cards, savings accounts, and investment solutions.

A highlight of Seylan Bank’s presence at the expo was its team of Home Loan Specialists, dedicated to simplifying the loan process for potential homeowners. These specialists were available to evaluate and advise customers at every stage of the loan application journey. Beyond offering guidance on competitive interest rates, they also provided personalised follow-up services to keep clients informed of their loan progress, eliminating the need for customers to liaise with multiple bank officials.

Expanding its commitment to sustainability, Seylan Bank also promoted its Seylan Solar Loans, offering customers a way to mitigate rising electricity costs through the adoption of renewable energy. With access to over 35 partnered solar merchants, customers were able to explore solar solutions at a reduced interest rate, reflecting the bank’s forward-thinking approach and tech-enabled services.

Assistant General Manager – Marketing and Sales at Seylan Bank PLC, Asiri Abhayaratne, said the Kedella Construction Expo represents an opportunity for both Seylan Bank and the expo itself to play an active role in supporting new homeowners as well as assisting existing homeowners in renovating and extending their homes. He added that the bank looks forward to continuing this partnership in the future.

The 2025 edition of the Kedella Construction Expo featured over 200 trade stalls, offering a wide range of construction-related materials, products, and services. Visitors had the opportunity to explore everything from building materials, home appliances, and decorations to housing and real estate, landscaping, furniture, roofing systems, safety and security systems, architectural and engineering consultancy, insurance services, and more.
