Indian Actors Join Sri Lankan Cast for ‘Gautama Buddha Matha’ Premiere

A group of Indian actors and actresses, including Palguni Khanna, Aditi Singh, Tushar Chibber, and Himanshi Jain, have arrived in Sri Lanka. These performers play leading roles in the film Gautama Buddha Matha, which premiered in theatres across the island on 10 December.

Following their attendance at the premiere, the actors will participate in promotional activities for the film over the next few days.

Directed by Emeritus Professor Sunil Ariyarathne and produced by Thilanga Sumathipala, Gautama Buddha Matha is based on the life story of Queen Prajapathi.

In addition to the Indian cast, a number of Sri Lankan actors, including Dilhani Ekanayake, Sampath Jayaweera, Dhananjaya Siriwardena, Sampath Dayaruwan, Gevin Avishka, and Nethu Gamlath, have contributed to the film.
