UPFA General Secretary Susil Premajayantha said that former MPs Duminda Silva, Mervyn Silva, Sarana Gunawardena and Sajin de Vass Gunawardena are not given nominations from the UPFA to contest the election.

 

He made this announcement when he arrived at the Colombo District Secretariat to hand over the nominations of the District.

 

In the recently dissolved parliament, Duminda Silva represented Colombo District and Sajin de Vass Gunawardena represented Galle. Both Mervyn Silva and Sarana Gunawardena were from Gampaha District.
