Former minister Dullas Alahapperuma has filed a complaint with the Matara Police citing that the Former Chairman of the Weligama Pradeshiya Sabha had levelled death threats against him.

 

Alahapperuma revealed to the media this afternoon that the Weligama PS Chairman threatened him with foul language.

 

Alahapperuma also said that he had lodged a complaint with the Matara Police and also with the Southern Province DIG and the Elections Commissioner regarding the matter. 

 

The individual who allegedly made the death threat is said to be a supporter of Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera.
