Eleven members of the National Freedom Front are contesting the upcoming general election under the United People's Freedom Alliance ticket, the NFF said.

 

Accordingly, NFF leader Wimal Weerawansa contests from Colombo and Deputy Chairman Weerakumara Dissanayake has entered the electoral fray in Anuradhapura.

 

Former MP Jayantha Samaraweera contests the election from Kalutara District.

 

Other NFF members in the contest are Deepal Gunasekara from Ratnapura, Nimal Premawansa from Kandy, Nimal Piyatissa from Nuwara Eliya, Padma Udayashantha Gunasekara from Moneragala, Jayantha Wijesekara from Trincomalee, Jagath Priyankara from Puttalam, Niroshan Premaratne from Matara and Padmasiri Abeysinghe from Kurunegala.
