Opposition Leader Advises People Not To Get Tricked By Facebook Campaigns

Opposition Leader Nimal Siripala de Silva asked the voters not to get tricked by Facebook trickery and vote for the UPFA in the upcoming general election.

Speaking at a meeting in Badulla, de Silva said that people voted against the UPFA once after being tricked by Facebook campaigns. He asked the people not to repeat the same mistake again.

De Silva also added that there could be internal issues in any party, especially concerning the preference vote. However, the party was not divided in the grass-root level, he added. Therefore, he asked people to vote for the betel leaf without any hesitation.

The only objective of the UPFA was to form an anti-UNP government, de Silva added, pointing out that each UPFA vote is valuable in the election.
