Minister of Mass Media and Information Gayantha Karunathilaka stated that the ‘Mahinda Chinthana’ which was once defeated on January 8, has returned in the UPFA election campaign.

 

Speaking at a press briefing in Galle, Karunathilaka said that the UPFA does not have any novel ideas but are just following the defeated slogans of Mahinda Chinthana. It will be defeated once again at the August 17 election, Karunathilaka added.

 

He also said that the government will not let Rajapaksa reverse the victories achieved on January 8.
