The Colombo High Court today fixed for submission the Mohamed Shiyam murder case from August 3. The case will be heard on a day-to-day basis, the court also directed.

 

Former DIG Vass Gunawardena, his son Ravindu Gunawardena and several others stand accused in this trial.

 

The case was heard by trial at bar comprising three judges, namely, Lalith Jayasooriya, Kusala Sarojini Weerawardena and Amendra Seneviratne.
